To this end, we build the self-service platform for streaming data pipelines, based on the open-source technology Apache Kafka. DataCater enables companies to benefit from the power of event streaming, without handling the complexity. What you will do

In our team, frontend engineers build an oustanding user experience and crystal-clear user interface.

In detail, you will ...

Build a state-of-the-art architecture for our ReactJS-based frontend.

Work on the user-facing components of the DataCater application.

Empower our users to explore data, interactively build data transformations, and deploy production-grade data pipelines.

Improve the user experience and accessibility of our product.

Whom we’re looking for

You are a great match for this position if you are self-driven, curious, and willing to take full ownership.

Technically, you are a strong fit for this position, if ...

You have a strong background in JavaScript.

You have prior experience with ReactJS and libraries, such as redux or axios.

You have solid skills in HTML and CSS.

You know how to efficiently debug JavaScript applications and trace frontend errors in production deployments.

You have prior experience in building clean, accessible and modern web applications.

You know frontend patterns like MV* and can decide when to apply which.

You have worked with CI/CD pipelines in the past.

The icing on the cake would be, if ...

You know a server-side language, such as Java or Python.

You have experience in writing software tests for JavaScript applications.

To thrive at DataCater you should be comfortable to work in a remote setting. This requires to ...
